I agree with this. Also, as another poster suggested, have the remaining baby teeth pulled at this point. If you're thinking about microchipping, now would be a good time to do it too. I'm glad you're making this choice, the number one cause of male dog's death is being hit by a car because some "bitch" is in heat.
