Default Vaccination question for adult found yorkie

Well, I am slowly getting myself organized here and over the initial shock of having my little Madison here! I want to get him started on his vaccinations and since I have no idea what he's had, if anything; or when; I called the local shelter and the lady there said to start him on the normal puppy schedule of vaccinations. This is what they give and the schedule:

1st DHPPC
1st Deworm 8 weeks

2nd DHPPC
2nd Deworm
1st Bordatella 11 weeks

3rd DHPPC
2nd Bordatella 14 weeks

Rabies 16 weeks

Does this look appropriate to you? I wish I could get his rabies sooner, but does anyone know if I can? He's not a puppy for sure.

And somebody mentioned something about a "6 in 1" shot that could be given to dogs who haven't been kept up on their vaccinations. Does anyone know anything about that, or if it would even be safe for a Yorkie? He's only about 3-4 lbs at the moment, but I'm sure he's going to be 5 lbs when he's filled out from not eating for so long and I don't think it's going to be long the way he eats!

I have to have to wait for a couple of weeks to have him neutered anyway, and I think he has to have had all his vaccinations before he can have that done, so I want to get going ASAP!

Thank you for any guidance! Seana
