My heart is just breaking for you, and I am so sorry for the pain I know you are in at this time. Just know that you did the right thing, and what was best for your beloved little guy. He is now at peace, and free from pain.
Try to remember all the fun times that you had together, it helps a little.
I can hardly see to type this for tears, I've been down this road as well, and it's not easy.
