I have given up chasing Max, there's no way I'd ever catch him. Usually if I ignore him, he will come back to me. I only trust him to do this out in the garden. I leave a lead on him during the day, just in case he tries to out smart me. He doesn't have to try too hard, him mind is always one step ahead mine lol.
I am begining to get him to "come", a little further now, however if he's too far away, he'll just ignore me.
