I left my Lookout car seat on the floor in the living room for about 2 weeks first. I put kibble and toys in it and my Baby would climb into it and find treats! Eventually he would just take his toy or bully stick into it to play. When I finally made the move into the car it went really well. I sat in back with him for the first ride and after that he was great. He now sleeps in his seat whenever we go anywhere. This method may work for you. Good luck!
