Soooo, hubby decided to hop on my 10 year olds motorized scooter on Easter sunday and the front wheel got hung up in a crack and sent him flying!!!
the last thing he heard was me yelling "be careful!!" He landed on his head and shoulder. When he got up blood was gushing from his head from a 3 inch hole that went clear to his skull and his shoulder was killing him. Spent the evening in the ER for stitches and x-rays. He cracked his collarbone and is in a sling. So I've been nursing him back to health all week and he went back to work for a bit this morning.
Sometimes I wonder if he will ever grow up, but do I REALLY want him too...probably not!
The good thing is, now I don't hear anymore complaints from my 10 year old about wearing his helmet.
BTW...letting you guys know I changed my user name from

YorkieAz and also got my hair cut. Guess I needed a change.
