Don't buy from someone selling more than one breed, that's a huge red flag; also don't buy from someone who sells "teacups" another flag. It's not easy finding a good breeder, but I always recommend the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America (YTCA) the parent company of the AKC for finding a reputable breeder.
