Soo meeko is 5 months now. I don't work rite now, just go to school full time. He's alone probaly 4 hours a day. We're very close, he follows me around all day making sure everything is ok. he can't even eat without me. The kitchen and the living room are next to each other, but a couch is in the middle. So when he's in the kitchen eating and I'm sitting on the couch, he can't see him. So he'll go grab a few pieces of food and walk over, till he can see him, and eat them. He goes back and forth until hes full. He even follows me to the bathroom and scratches the door if i close it before he gets in.

I dont crate him, I just use a baby gate and lock him into the kitchen with his food, water, and some safe toys. I can put him into the kitchen 5 minutes before I leave and he's fine until I close the front door. The second the door shuts, he starts crying, no screaming as loud as he can. I hear him all the way down 3 flights of stairs and across the parking lot. He wont play with any toys when I'm gone too. One day I placed them in certain areas to tell, and 2 hours later they didnt move. My neighbors must think I'm beating him, thats how bad it sounds. I've asked friends so suggestions and they all thought I was exaggerating until a friend was visiting from home (from NJ, I'm in FL for college) and we left to go to the store and she heard him. She's like wow, your neighbors must think your kill him and go out to get a new puppy everyday. Even if i go out to the store and my boyfriend is home, he'll sit at the door and cry for 10 mins. My bf will throw toys for him to get, he'll go get the toys, carry them to the door and sit and cry. After a while of sitting at the door my bf will pick him up and bring him to the couch and Meeko just sleeps till I come back.

Anyone have suggestions? This has been going on for about a month and i dont know how to stop him. I'm afraid if he doesnt stop my neighbors will complain to my apartmen complex. I'm allowed to have a dog, but if it's bothering other people, they can ask me to get rid of him! Please help! Thanks in advance

Oh I wanna apologize for any mispellings. i'm on my bf's laptop and its soo weird. Every few words it jumps up to a random word and starts typing there. i stopped soo many times looking for where the cursor moved to. So sorry if some of it is weird!
