 I have serious reservations....
Firstly, we just experienced a problem trying to back register a female for a young lady.... I gathered all the info she had and because the dog's name had been changed when it was moved to CKC and the breeder kept no records, This girl has a Beautiful CkC only reg. female..... I think this will eventually become a real confusion and add to what is already a mess. Also, I am sure AKC is not offering this service for FREE... Lastly, I register most puppies prior to leaving the kennel to make certain our signature is in the name.... This is a really big deal for us and it bothers me the AKC does not see the value of the breeders who keep them in business.... Thus, this is just another thing I've got to add to an already ridiculously long contract.... BOO! |
