Oh dear I am feeling your pain deep in my heart.. takes my breath away reading this post. I know what you are feeling and how your are struggling..I had to put down my sassie a year ago December.. It was so hard.. she had be soo abused and was by my side all the time.. as long as she was with me she was not afraid.. I still hurt and you post can make those feelings come alive again.. But she was so old, we did not know her age.. she was not living just existing.. I have lost 3 others also.. and not one of them leave my heart..
Just think what a great life he had with you..think of all the places he could have ended up at.
It is always so easy to comfort others, but when it is really our turn it is not as easy...
