I also understand how you feel. I am a high school teacher. First, student teaching is intense. It gets a little easier after you've taught for a few years. Things settle down some and you gain confidence. You will find that you're not as tired most of the time.
I live for my weekends and holidays with Gizmo. Luckily, my husband is home full time right now, so that helps. I miss him a lot and I'm sure he misses me during the day, but he's adjusting. The cool thing is that I get a couple of months during the summer, two weeks at Christmas, and a week for spring break. I take full advantage of those times to spoil Gizzy.
