You shouldn't just be giving Nutrical just for the heck of it. It's just plain old corn syrup mixed with a very very very very very tiny amount of vitamins to make it sound better than corn syrup. Some puppies that are extremely small need this because they have a hard time eating enough to suit their energy needs. To test for hypoglycemia press on the gum, after you release your finger it should return to looking pink again, if it stays white looking your dog might be suffering from this. If you have a pup under 8 months of age be sure you are free feeding him so that there is food available at all time. Next time you go to the vet check with him. How old is he?
