I just got one of my babies back as the family that got him fell on hard times and I took her back as they cannot keep her any longer. That is what a responsible breeder would do.
I will evaluate her training and keep her for a few weeks to see how she acts and get her a physical then look for a new home for her. Her name is Emma and she will be 1 in April.
I feel so sorry for the family but I'm happy they are returning her to me as the contract states I get first chance at a puppy the buyer can not keep due to any reason.
I'll post pictures later after she is all settled in.
That will make 8 dogs for awhile! But Emma will get extra attention so she won't feel abandoned or sad....
