Haha...excellent idea! Actually, he knows that he's marked a few places but he really doesn't know the extent. We've got big pillows with custom made shams on them that I take off the bed at night and set on the floor next to the fireplace...last night, I caught Madison starting to lift his leg on one , but luckily, I stopped him in the nick of time! I think if I put a belly band on, maybe dh would feel a little better .
Madison sure is really cute - I always believe that 'everyone' (including animals) should have a friend - so I hope it works out for you all. |
I've always agreed with that. And I've always had at least two of any animal I've owned. Except for Max. I always basically intended to get him a playmate, but .....there's the initial cost of the dog and then the vet bills etc...in addition to my dh saying he was perfectly happy with just one dog b/c he ADORES Max. And I adore Max also. It's hard to know what's best sometimes. Our relationship with Max and his with us will change with another dog and I guess it's just a learning process. Change is always a little difficult; not unpleasant at all, just an adjustment. I wonder if after this long (3 yrs) if Max would prefer to be the only dog? He seems to enjoy playing with Madison, but sometimes he seems a little unsure of why things arent' the same as they've always been before...like why it takes longer to get his food dish, LOL. Maybe I'm overthinking it.
