Usually vets say nothing by mouth for awhile.
Why do you think it is pancreatitis?
When Ellie had it (didn't know that is what it was at the time), I pulled food and gave her PediaLyte and water until the next morning. She was vomiting but didn't have diarrhea. I don't really know in this case.
