When I give both of mine a bath I blow dry then I brush. I have always brushed both of them with a dry coat. After brushing I look at the brush, I don't see a lot of hair in the brush. When I comb Jazzies hair, I do sections at a time, as I go I hold the hair closest to her skin with my fingers so that I am not tugging or pulling with the brush. You do what works for you.
