I just checked this syringe and it says ML not CCs....so the receptionist was really confused. It has 2 sides. On one said it has whole numbers and on the ML side it has .1 through 1.0. She has the magic marker marked at 3 on the whole number side. I am guessing the doctor told her to mark it there, but I'm definitely going to go with the 1/4 tsp like everyone is saying. I actually had rather use benadryl because I honestly think he has some sort of allergy. Does anyone know how much benadryl I should give a 2 pounder. Now my next step is to find out what's causing this allergy. I'd rather cure the problem than mask it. The reason that I'm going to give the benadryl is because I don't think this coughing is good for a pup with a developing trachea.
Any ideas?
