well, when is the next time you are going? we are going to be living right down town! lol. i figured tamarindo was a good "transition town." its built up so much that there is a lot to do but is still a small tropical town. after the 6 months is up we may try somewhere a little more remote, but i loved tamarindo when we were there at christmas!
We will be going in August - Usually we go during the summer months since that is when the best swell is but we have also slipped over there during Christmas
You have to take up surfing! Tamarindo has a perfect beach break for learning. My husband spent a lot of time in Costa Rica in the Special Ops so he really loves it there.
