Yes they can get mad at U. U should see my Teddy when I do something he don't like, he pouts, rubs his pony out, goes and paws at my rugs. Sage tears puppy pads up when she is mad at me. They are very smart, don't ever ever underestimate them! She is just getting use to the process, if U've never put her in one then she has to adjust to it. She will get use to it. Do U have toys in there for her? What about blankies? Make it like her own little home. Do U have food and water where she can get to it all the time? Trust me if U do it the right way she will come to love it and even go sleep in it when U're home, even if U have other beds out throughout U're home, Mine go in theirs to sleep even with beds out in our living room and Yorkies room or if something scares her she'll run it her little crate. There is NOTHING wrong with crating babies when need be. And no she won't do this all the time.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

Yes toys, blankie, food, water and wee pad...just in case. But she rarely uses the wee pad in there.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with U on this one, and I'm not trying to start any fusses here but just my own personal thoughts on this matter. Fencing off a room might be a kinder solution in somes eyes but I've done that fenced off my kitchen for my Yorkies, my kitchen chairs we're ate all to pieces, baseboards, pee in the floor. Fenced off my living room and same thing happened U should see my coffee table, not counting baseboards, chewed holes in my carpet when we had carpet in the living room. Ate my sewing machine cord up, ate a fan cord up all the way through while it was plugged in and running mind U while I was gone to the store. (Thank Tiffanie for that one). When Yorkies are puppies and no one is there to watch them they will chew/eat whatever they can get their teeth on. I've tried all the sprays out there and all the hot sauces on the market. I feel if U can't be there to watch them or put them in a room without no baseboard and nothing to chew on that they may get hurt on then they should be crated or in playpens for their safety.

Well thanks God for crates huh!! and thanks for your response...I used the crate to keep her safe when I'm not around and when she was a puppy. Life happens...She will either learn to accept it or not...if not...well it will just always be hard on her.
