I'm not sure all that is necessary but i had never even thought of doing it. I keep my breeding records on all my boys and girls and I can go by that when they are due to come in heat again. Noww, on these two girls I have that are too young, I have one that is almost ready for her second heat at 18 months old. I just kept it in my head when she was in the last time and started counting. I probably should have some sort of system. Then my almost 11 month old girl has not had her first heat so I am just watching these girls very close. i spend the biggest part of every day in with my dogs tho so I can keep track of every move they make almost.
