I had a foster pup for a few weeks following bladder stone surgery, and she was on canned prescription food also. I would roll it into small meatballs and ended up hand feeding her also because it is not very flavorful. FYI The prescription food is for short term only, not a complete diet. I am sure eventually your vet will work with you on a new diet for her that is higher in protein and balanced.
