The reason I'm asking is that most of these dogs have already been thru &ell,
and I have read where some people get these poor dogs only to breed them , and in my opinion put them thru more
I have even seen posts on YT that I question if this has happened!!!!
If its not said outright... you can read between the lines
I know it has happened to the breeders, that the new owners breed when their not allowed to. Fake numbers for AKC etc. |
Reputable rescues will spay or neuter prior to adopting out. Pediatric spay/neuter is also becoming very popular as well to prevent people from getthing a puppy and then breeding it. Lilly was 13 weeks when we got her and she as already spayed. As far as breeders rehoming their studs or females I really wish that they ALL would rehome them AFTER they have been fixed. Some breeders do and some do not. It works for people rehoming their dog too. They state they want them in a good loving pet home yet sell them or rehome them in tact, when a simple procedure would prevent these dogs from ending up in mills or with byb. Elaine
