I am so sorry Sammy had a UTI on top of everything else she has gone through.
I still can't get over that third picture of her standing up in the bandages.
And yes, plastic wrap is great to keep the bandages dry. I used it with my last 'port' for my I.V.s and it never got a bit wet.
