You cant show spayed/unregistered dogs at AKC conformation shows as they are for the judging of breeding stock, and if someone doesnt like that term, dogs that will potentially be used for breeding programs. But you can show spayed dogs in other things such as ralley and obedience.
It would be kind of fun to see mock shows that spayed dogs could compete in just for fun!!
