When she was running around did she seem upset or distressed?? The reason I ask is because the behaviour you describe sounds like what my dog does when he is really happy. He goes on a tear from one toy to the next shaking them and then running from room to room, jumping on the couch and on all the chairs. We find it quite funny and call it his "devil dog" time. Maybe your girl feels so much better that she is getting this burst of energy.
