Ok I remember on the MSN site she said that she was a student. She was living in Canada with her adoptive mother and sisters. Seems there was a history of abuse with her family and she was removed from the home (that is a bit fuzzy there). She seemed genuinely like a nice young lady...always speaking of her love for the breed and talking about her breeder/mentor and how she loves the dark brazilians. I had a little interaction with her just enjoyed watching pictures. Definitely the person she portrayed there is not what I hear about her now. Never ever heard that she worked for the govt. Very sad for someone to have that much hate and anger in them that they would treat a person like that.
I think that breeding dogs in Brazil is big business. I can envision lots of puppy mills running around there. The very first male I ever purchased was on recommendation by a friend at work who we were both looking for a pup at the same time...I didn't know as much as I know now. This person is also a member on here. Well that pup was from Brazil. Took me a bit to get his papers and when I asked the person that sold him to me (at first she was saying she has a good friend and she co-breeds with him) if I could get some pictures of his mom and dad so I could make a baby album...I got a lot of hemming and hawing. Eventually I was given a picture of a beautiful female but she definitley looked a lot bigger than the person told me she was when she was selling me the pup. Either way it was a lesson learned because I realized a lot more after that. I realized that she was bsing about the whole breeder thing and actually was just a broker.
I recently checked her site because I like to see pups but I noticed she gets lots of pups and she is now actually selling females/males to certain homes where they can keep the dog and she gets to breed them.
Thank god for YT...definitely helps you to put things in perspective for when you buy a new family member.
