I had a yorkie once who would find something of mine, tear it up, and leave it on the rug at the front door anytime we went anywhere other than work ... Anyway, find a situation that works for you and is safe for your girl.... Also, you might think about investing in a play yard to keep in your vehicle... They fold flat and are really nifty....
