every puppy is different. the growth chart had dexter being full grown at 3.5 pounds, but he is now 8 months and 4.5 pounds with probably some more growing to happen yet! i was also glad that he grew more than expected...hes still small, but i think when he is full grown (likely at least 5+ pounds) i wont have to worry about him as much as if he was 3lbs
