I was wondering if anyone has ever taken the RCIA Catholic classes? They are classes for adults wishing to become baptized into the Catholic religion. I'm thinking about taking these classes with my mother and sister. I wasn't raised any specific religion we just went to a mixture of churches and so I have never been baptized.

As I'm getting older I really think it's time that I get this done. My boyfriend (whom I plan to marry) is a cradle Catholic and has attended Catholic school and church his entire life. My sister's husband is also catholic and they are raising their kids Catholic. My sister is pregnant again and I also want to be the new babies God mother, since I wasn't able to be my neice's since I'm not catholic.

Anyway my question really is, can anyone tell me more about these classes and also maybe explain the steps it takes to become Catholic?
