Certainly a poor quality food. I started my first puppy on that (because I didn't know any better...), and now we are on Canidae. There are many great foods you can feed, but you will not find them at your petsmart or petco or wal-mart. Usually, they can be found at a grain store or a smaller-type boutique or holistic pet food store. Go to dogfoodanalysis.com and find one you like with 5-6 stars...good luck
