I'm sorry you had a bad experience. Many breeder won't place puppies in homes with large dogs so I don't fault her for that..each breeder has the right to place their puppies where they want to. However, you are lucky you didn't get a puppy from them. You should definitely stay away from anyone that is USDA licensed. Only commercial breeders need to be USDA licensed and it's always a huge red flag. Good Luck finding your new baby. I highly recommend going to www.ytca.org and looking at the breeder list there.
