 update.torn esophagus
Kirby was taken frm the local hospital adn spent 3 days at the university Hospital in Madison. after several tests and endoscopy found a bone chew gouged intohis esophagus. it took hearly two hours to chip away at it until it was smallenough to push into stomach. He has sever damage. He is on pepcid AC, Prilosec, and one to coat the lining.....these areto keep the acids from creating a hope in the esophagus and to keep scar tissue to a minimum. However he is prescription baby food and still having a hard time and often seem to choke on air. It is very scary. He gets anothet endoscopy in a week.
I have to say I am so frightened. afraid now, and nerouse later on that he might pick up a scrap or a leaf a nd choke.
