Animal Smiley 019 thank you so much

Deborah

I went to the Vet again today with Holly and she lost 1.3 lbs.(all water) overnight in pee.
Your thoughts on this are just what the Vet suggested. He also said I almost lost her, because he was treating her for a food allergy until the bloat came...so then he did x-rays and blood work. Water was in her tummy and in her chest...in another day the water would have stopped her heart. She never had a fever...her heart is strong still.

He also said the disease can be managed but, will never be cured. The right diet will keep her with me for a few more years....I am hoping for many more years.

I am so hopeful now...My sweet Holly is so thankful that I am taking care of her that I notice she stays more close to me and gives me hugs and kisses.
She is a wonderful patient about all this too. Giving her pills to take has been very easy so far.

This treatment will be expensive...but, she is worth it...really worth it.

Thank you for your concern and taking the time to let me know your thoughts on all this. I really truly appreciate the help
