That is exactly why I asked the breeder to let me have her at 8 weeks. Even though she was reluctant to let her go before 11 weeks she agreed to it as I know how to care for one so young.
I read so many things that said it was easier to bond with and train the dog if its younger. You become their mother and they accept you in that role. I'm so excited...I don't know if I'll last the week!
