Yes but my dog got it from a nylabone.
Raw hide is one of the worst chews you can give your pet along
with greenies, nylabones and bullysticks to name a few.
Please take the rawhide away. Go to the pet store and purchase
a natural beef bone. It's safe to chew and provides all the chewing
for any dog. Just get one that fits his mouth.
The rawhide, if a piece is bitten off and swollowed can swell in the stomach and cause
a blockage. The nylabones fragments can tear up the inner wall of
the linning of the stomach etc.
Don't panic. See if it continues if so get your pup to the vet.
It could even be from something else but since you asked IMO that
is why I no longer give my Yorkie any of the above.
