LOL, Honestly, Michigan is a VERY boring state and I wouldn't normally tell anyone to vacation here but the UP is very nice and has different things, so everybody can do at least one thing that will make them happy. Those attractions aren't expensive either. I forgot though, we also have Sleeping Bear Dunes if you are into that kind of thing.
