Schatzie has a cottony coat and yes, she matts in anything she wears for long periods of time. So, I had to stop letting her wear clothes for long lengths of time. I usually dress her for pics or short walks etc.
She too had the static clingy look, made me laugh as it was cute.
Im guessing that the silkier better coats might not matt as much but Im not sure what coat your baby has??
Even loose fitting clothes can tend to matt Schatzie. I was so disapointed.
