Sadie was spayed a week and a half ago... Your baby will be fine. Have them call you when she wakes up so you feel better...
The up side
She is every bit as playful... She is a sweet funny playful darlin, the same as always.
Hasn't had a accident in the house since the spay... ( I think it might be because she has onsies on so she won't lick her wound) What ever the reason, we are very happy about it!
She now sleeps with us!
The down side
Although we tried very hard not to let her play, her stickes opened a bit and her healing time is prolonged... Try to keep you baby calm for a full week.
We have tons of pillows around the floor so she won't have to jump to get up and down....
They didn't send pain meds home and she was very uncomfortable the first night. (Try to insist on some pain meds)
I took onesies and sewed the neck up a little on both sides... We un snap them to take her potty and it is a little bit more work, but wel worth it. She can't lick her stitches.
