I've had the same experience you're describing and I know you just need to hang in there. Once they get what you're trying to do, they love it. You need to click and throw the toy 20 times a day until she looks for the toy with happy anticipation instead of running away. She's not trying to make you feel bad, she just has it in her head that the hot dogs mean trouble. You can change her mind. Hang in there.

Thanks so much I was really getting discouraged. We will throw toys tonight with the clicker. I sure don't want it to be a bad expierience for her.
