You could google "pet lodging." We're going to see our son in Plano in a couple weeks. I googled and my son went to check the pet lodging out. Most pet lodging allows you to drop/pick-up your furbaby over the weekend. If you found something close to your hotel would you be able to have someone check it out for you? Best wishes to you daughter on this new venture in her life.
