I have a 11 year old pom with Cushings disease, Liver problems and enlarged heart, this summer they did a liver biopsy on her and she stopped breathing on the table. Fortunatley she was at the ER hospita as she is under a specialists care and the trauma doctor was there and got her breathing again. So if surgery is absolutely necessary I would make sure it was done at a facility that could handle an emergency and a board certified surgeon.Also have the preanesthetic bloodwork done. Good luck. |
