I had had my first Yorkie for 6 months when I got married. I got divored 1 year later and me and my 2 dogs moved into my parents house. They adjusted very well. There was no question they would be with me. I would've fought harder for my dogs than for any other possesion but he didn't fight me on it. I brought 2 dogs to the marriage and so did he, so it wasn't hard to decide.
