when you breed a highly-shedding dog with a non-shedding dog you basically get a 50/50 chance at what you'll get. I've seen lab/poodle mixes and golden/poodle mixes in person that were both shedding and non-shedding. I've seen many lab/poodle mixes turned over to shelters because the family thought they were buying a hypoallergenic dog and then the dog ended up shedding and causing allergies...you just never know for sure what you'll get when you mix breeds
