 Has anyone here ever heard of puppystars.com
They are located in Centerville, Iowa. I don't believe that they are a puupy mill however I do believe that they broker puppies out to pet stores. Some of the red flags are: They are USDA licensed, they spelled "Yorkshire" as "Yorksire", They breed many small breeds of dogs, and I asked for pictures of the Dam and Sire and the lady emailed me a picture of a male yorkshire terrier. Which is ok but she told me that she didn't have a picture of the female down loaded yet. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada so there is no way to go there. How do you find out about this USDA license? Where would I go to see how many dogs there are? I am so glad that I found Yorkietalk.com so I know what to look for and what to ask when selecting a quality puppy. I don't any heartbreak and expensive vet bills. Thanks for helping me out here. |
