ok - besides the washable pee pads or the standard pads- why not try what I'm using outside on my patio ? You can problably find it at home depot (a friend gave mine to me) but the girls LOVE it. It's green just like grass (a little crinkly) but they do their business on it every single morning....the good thing is it doesn't hold the pee so if you have it in the house - put something under it.
you could get enough and cut out little squares - if you have a washer I bet this can pass thru the washer but not the dryer -
I have the washable pads with a standard throw-away on top in the house.....it took a few weeks but they're doing really good now.
