Oh Isabel I just saw this and so glad that your baby is home and safe. If the peanut butter didn't work on the glue try Goo Be Gone which you can get at any WalMart, Target, Walgreens...it't totally safe and works on getting lables off of anything and is gentle.
Those little buggers can sure scare the pants off you that's for sure.
