I have very limited experience with Yorkies from Europe so I'm not sure if the European Yorkies have the same coat as the Yorkie coats we have here either so since the Biewers have come from the German Yorkies, don't know if that's where the difference lies or not.

The soft coats really are a bear to take care of though I can tell you that!!

I could not have said it better!!! LOL

Here is a pic of my Samira. She also has a soft coat. Every leave and blade of grass causes havoc. Needless to say, she doesn't look like this every day!
