I was at Walmart a few weeks back in the pet section. A young girl was telling me she was getting a shirt for the pug her husband was buying for her at the dog auction that morning. I did take the time to explain about the auctions and the real price that is paid for dogs from auctions. Not only is there the large vet bills trying to get "your" dog healthy, buying from them helps perpetuate the continued cycle.....so innocent dogs pay the price of neglect and greed. |
