 Holly is on steriods
The Vet put her on Steriods twice a day for the next 5 days
He wants to recheck her on Monday.
Steriods make dogs hungry all of the time...Holly follows me around crying for something to eat other than the rice and low-fat cottage cheese diet the Vet put her on. This will be a very hard week for Holly and me. Her bloat is gone this afternoon. Vet still wants her to take a water elimination pill twice a day for 5 days. She has lost 1 lb in water weight the first day.
She also passed about 2 heaping tablespoons of tape worms!!! (dead) He had used a wormer on her the week before.
Treatment is going to be a almost non-fat diet for life.

It helped me get through this day.
