I signed the petition. Thanks for the heads up! We are here to protect animals, not to abuse them. However, experimentation for drugs and procedures to actually help animals and humans is necessary. Look at the work being done on liver shunts at UT in Tennessee!!! As long as this work is being done humanely, with animals' and humans' best interests in mind, I see it as necessary.
